The Guilin Royal Garden Hotel is a Sino-Japanese joint venture, located on the banks of the Li River just opposite the picturesque Fubo Diecai Mountains.
All the decor utilizes materials imported directly from Italy. The use of marble in the furniture and paintings is quite spectacular. The catering and entertainment facilities are also very good.
For the fitness-minded the hotel's facilities include a fully equipped gymnasium, mountain bicycles, a sauna and massage center, and a swimming pool and two flood-lit tennis courts with a breathtaking view of the mountainous sky-line that makes Guilin so mystical. For evening entertainment, the Fu Bo Piano Bar offers candle-lit comfort overlooking the winding Lijiang River, while "Garden Night", performed live every evening, features live music and traditional songs, dances, costumes and customs of many of China's ethnic minorities.
